This award has been developed by Award Place in partnership with the National Children’s Bureau (NCB), the Wellbeing Award for Schools focuses on ensuring effective practice and provision is in place that promotes the emotional wellbeing and mental health of the whole school community.

Improve the emotional wellbeing of our whole school community (pupils, parents and staff)
Ensure mental health problems are identified early and appropriate support provided
Offer provision and interventions that matches the needs of its pupils and staff
Engage the whole school community in the importance of mental health awareness
Capture the views of parents, pupils and teachers on mental health issues
In September 2019, an interim assessor visit for the award was completed which was successful. We hope to continue this success by achieving the award at the final verification visit which takes place in January 2020.
